I am a self-motivated young researcher, with demonstrated research expertise in post-combustion CO2 capture, CO2 reduction into useful products, renewable and sustainable energy resources and electrochemistry.

I believe in the utilization of research into value added substances like proposals for patents, prototype demonstrations, commercialization of technologies, and more importantly dissemination of research knowledge by publishing in high impact factor journals. I look forward to grabbing a position in academia or R&D, where I should quench the thirst for my research by materializing my ideas.

Experience and expertise:

Conducted extensive literature survey and experimentation on the stability of amine solvents for post-combustion CO2 capture.
Designed and executed the design of experiments. Examined solution concentration and its alkalinity through titration.
Conducted experiments for CO2 absorption using amine solvents, mainly, Morpholine, Piperazine and Diethanolamine.
Investigated CO2 loading through titration.

Investigated Reaction kinetics of thermal and oxidative degradation of Morpholine, Piperazine and Diethanolamine blend.
Used GC-FID, GC-MS, and HPLC for solvent degradation product’s and remaining amine concentration.
Proposed thermal and oxidative degradation kinetic models using regression.

Written proposals for various funds. Written and presented progress reports for the High Impact Research (HIR) project at the University of Malaya.

Procured raw materials, consumables and fixed equipment under HIR projects.
Written and submitted a significant number of research proposals for local and international research grants.
Written and published high-quality research articles.
